Post X-Mass XtravaganzaOur first live performance of 2010!  Although we'll be generally lying low over the next few months to work on our album, we invite you to spin the Wheel Of Mashup and get your year started off right.  Spin the wheel, make a mashup!  This line-up offers a range of musical variety we usually only see at European shows, which give us an opportunity to take a few chances too.  Along with our giveaways of free ECC All-Access Mash lanyards and CDs to everyone who spins our wheel, there's free gifts for the first 50 fans and more... see you there!

Burning Man's 10th annual Decompression / Heat The Street Faire approaches!

Last year The Evolution Control Committee was giving a packed San Francisco crowd their first glimpses of our amazing VidiMasher 3000.  In the year since we've been improving and refining the VidiMasher into the formidable mashup machine that it's become, plus we made a new Wheel Of Mashup adding more music and lyrics plus prizes!

So come spin the Wheel Of Mashup yourself at 7:45pm to 8:30pm on the 19th Street stage -- want more?  Try SEVEN more stages of bands and DJs, plus the work of hundreds of great artists and the company of thousands of great people!

The 7th Annual Altered Barbie Show is up and nearly over, and what better way to celebrate its conclusion than with the action heroes of alteration -- The Evolution Control Committee!  You're invited to spin the Wheel Of Mashup at their closing reception this Saturday, and there's much more than just us -- read on:

ChatterBox Arts International presents the San Francisco 7th Annual Altered Barbie Exhibit taking place at Shotwell 50 Studios. Happy 50th Birthday Barbie! Cougars Rule and that goes for Ken too! Celebrating artists from around the Bay who reuse everything to make Barbie and Ken into recycled and re-usable art; including mixed-media, painting, printmaking, photography, quilts, fashion, poetry & 3D Barbies with video, performance and film! Over 100 artists showcase their eco-friendly ken and Barbie art.

The 7th Annual San Francisco Altered Barbie Exhibition is a cultural identity show of recycled and reusable Barbie and Ken art that includes performance on all levels! oh so San Francisco!

Ahhhh, what a shame -- EcoMotion Mendocino has had to cancel.  Looking forward to a future successful reincarnation...

The ECC goes north!  We're jumping in the new ECC tour bus to head up to Mendocino for EcoMotion Mendocino - "Block Rockin' Beats for Sustainable Eats!"  For those north of the Bay Area this is a chance to see The Evolution Control Committee's Wheel Of Mashup show right on the coast in downtown Fort BraggPlenty of great names on this bill; we're pleased to share the ranks with Missy Elliot, Beats Antique, and plenty more great musicians and DJs.  Best of all EcoMotion is a benefit for Mendocino county non-profits and school nutritional programs, and even bester, it's FREE!
